Pit fulls have the wrongful reputation that they are aggressive, dangerous dogs. But this is simply not true. As a breed, they are actually very loving and affectionate. The misconception that pit bulls need to be feared comes from dog fights and the people who own "dog fighting dogs". These PEOPLE are who make pit bulls aggressive. They teach them to be nasty to other animals and people, abuse being apart of this conditioning. PEOPLE are responsible for pit bulls bad rap. Pit bulls ARE NOT naturally aggressive and mean. And because of these people who create "dog fighting dogs", using steroids by the way--why you see some pit bulls so big and muscular, pit bulls have been banned from a lot of housing. They have even been euthanized just for the name of their breed, and no other reason. They have also been banned from actual states, and are forced to be deported. This includes dog rescues specializing in rescuing pit bulls. For example Villalobos was forced to move their shelter out of California because they housed mostly pit bulls, and California and their residents didn't want pit bulls around them. They now reside in New Orleans. This, and the laws that ban pit bulls, is sad and plan unnecessary. It is cruel and judging. The people with these "deadly dogs" need to be held accountable, and the dogs be taken to a specialized facility to be trained and get back to their natural selves. Wear this to spread the word and fight against the fear and hate of pit bulls.
